• Music Performance, University of Rhode Island

Formal Training:

• Professionally trained classical cellist with over fifteen years of performing experience, as an orchestral, chamber and solo musician

Professional Experience:

• Performed the Haydn cello concerti with both the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Symphony Orchestra and the University of Rhode Island Symphony Orchestra

• Has over ten years experience performing in chamber ensembles

• Two-time all state champion, placing first in the RIMEA all-state competition, junior and senior divisions

Faares currently works as an Engineer and freelance gig musician & private cello instructor. He is excited to be working with the students at SCSPA!
