Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in music composition from the University of Rhode Island, a master’s degree in instructional design and technology from the American College of Education, a certificate in life coaching through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching, and a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Practice in Gerontology through the Rhode Island Geriatric Education Center
FORMAL TRAINING
Tim melds his education in music composition, voice, and curriculum design and 20 years of experience in healthcare, music school, and collegiate settings into a unique teaching method that is welcoming and accessible to students.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
His special focus has been working with “non-traditional” vocal and piano students, including those with specific learning needs, those singing for emotional support, and those using music to build their confidence in navigating the world.
